Possible trigger:

get a pelvic ultrasound on Wednesday, and I have never gotten one before. I'm nervous for the actual exam (people tell me its no worse than getting your pap done), but also for the results.

My doctor was pretty nonchalant about it, but I am not sure it is because she isn't too worried or because she didn't want to freak me out.

Possible trigger:

I'm getting a pelvic ultrasound next week--my gyn gets me one every year as a screening for ovarian cancer, because my mom had it, though technically it's not a "screening" because insurance wouldn't cover that, so she codes it as painful periods. It's not that bad--when I have it done, need to drink a bunch of water first, they scan the outside. Then I can go pee, then an internal probe. It's not pleasant, but not too bad, all things considered.
