Hugs. I'm glad you at least have PC to come to. If it's not overstepping, I'd like to say: don't give up hope.

Edit: I also just thought of something. I live in the US, but I didn't always have access good counselors. I've had horrid and abusive counselors. And while now I'm getting the help I need, I have had to fight for it and...I guess sometimes be a squeaky wheel. I'm not entirely sure what a squeaky wheel IS. But I definitely advocate for myself, assert myself, stick up for myself, and know my rights now!! Its really helped. And, while I'm getting the good counseling I need now, I still don't much care for my pdoc. But she's in the same practice and its sort of out of my hands atm. Making do...

I'm not saying that it may be just as easy for you. It may not be, I don't know. I think you live in the UK? Hugs. Just know you're not alone and even your country is not alone in poor mental health care sometimes. Including access to good care. Hugs!!!!!!!
