Today in a truly awkward end-of-session exchange, got a new stone from Dr. T (I’d given other one back when I terminated). It’s small and cute. I’d asked him to pick one our, and he wandered around the office looking for a good choice. I said I was sorry he had to make so much effort at the end, and he was like, “oh no, you made me stand!” And smiled. Then at the end he asked how I thought that went. I asked if he meant whole session, and he said, “the last 4 minutes.” I said I thought ok—was he ok about it? he said he was.

Paid, bit of small talk, he said to have good Thanksgiving, he was sure I’d do well. I wished same back, he said he appreciated it. And “take care of yourself.”
