I volunteered to work Thanksgiving when I went into work yesterday. I have no relatives near where I live except my immediate family, and they are going to MIL's nursing home. H really didn't seem to care if I picked up the hours when I talked to him about it yesterday - so I hope he meant it and doesn't blow a gasket today.

I stayed 4 hours late last night - I'm catching up on hours I missed while sick.
