What helps me is knowing that I'm not the only one who has gone through this. I know "you're not alone" can sound cliche, but there are many other people who have endured similar things to what you have or worse. It doesn't mean by any extent that you have to fully recover and be happy-go-lucky normal, because everyone copes in different ways and CPTSD is a lifelong condition. You have CPTSD, you'll never be "normal", but that's okay.
What makes you happy? What do you genuinely enjoy doing? What do you want to do and what do you want in life? You don't need to share your answers but...think about it and pursue it.
