Benadryl is a quick fix, in a pinch...more for dystonia , acute EPS, but...some people say it helps akathisia. --not-- a doctor, just saying...1 (nefarious) psych had me on 1 tablet of Benadryl for akathisia and to help with sleep. again: in that case, a switch from the offending antipsychotic was the -real- solution.
