Some people (I think mainly psychiatrists) call the combination of Remeron (mirtazapine) and Effexor (venlafaxine) "California Rocket Fuel". I can attest to that--it's a pretty potent combination--if you ask me. I take both medicines. It's not really a funny nickname, yet it's a fitting one.
