It's an antihistamine. Won't hurt you sexually, mostly just have mild sleepiness that you can deal with I'd imagine. It should also help you get a better night's (more continuous) sleep. Go ahead and try it before you need it to see what happens with you. I use a children's chewable grape Benadryl that way.
