"Former" does this mean you two are broken up already? If you started dating her 4 weeks after she was in an abusive 2-year relationship it sounds like you were her "rebound." She does sound like she hasn't emotionally addressed those 2 years with a therapist which would help her get grounded again. Sounds like you two need space from each other.
