Hi Everyone,

I am currently IP for severe Complex PTSD. My pdoc suggested today that I try having a Stellate Ganglion Block injection into my neck. The research is looking good. It shuts down your 'fight, flight, freeze response and can last for years. No bad side-effects, only risk is being under anaesthetic, which I have been fine with in the past.

Now I am very interested in any one else experience with this injection. To have my hyper-vigilance shut down would be awesome as I am sure you will all agree.

In the next few days I will meet the specialist right here in hospital. I will be talking cost, and worst case scenarios. If I agree I will have it done next week. The procedure will be fully covered by my insurance but the doctors may have gap fees.

As I have Bipolar also I am posting this in both forums. Hugs for all who are struggling at the moment. I hope we all find some peace soon.
