I bought them last year mainly for something to slide on to take the dogs out. But I no longer clean barefoot because of the pain that follows. I also have hard wood floors.

I know better than to clean without shoes, but I was so focused I forgot.
I rolled around in a pair of flip flops today that have extra cushion at the balls of the feet. That helped take pressure off the angry nerves. I should be back to good in a day or two. I don't know a lot about the condition. I'm hoping it isn't degenerative.
What if we did a swap? I'll take some of your energy and determination for cleaning and I'll send you a package of exercise fuel. Oh and some magical cookies of course!
