My son's orders have been changed once again. He WILL be going to Iraq next month. He was fitted for his flak vest yesterday, and he will be stationed at a base outside of Baghdad that receives regular mortar attacks. He's scheduled to be there for 6 months, maybe more. I won't be able to breathe until he comes home from that place.

May I ask for prayers for his safe return? It feels selfish to ask for prayers only for my son, so would you also include prayers for the safe return of all our men and women who are involved in this ugly war?
