I could not agree more. If there is 1 day of my life that I regret, it is the day, 10 years ago, that I joined Facebook. I would say that 90% of intense stress in my life comes from Facebook. I'm serious. (The remaining 10% being money shortage.)
I have seen - and been caught up in- the most egregious displays of hateful rage on Facebook that ever, anywhere IRL or online. Some genuinely ugly *****.
I would like to make private all of my picture albums, just so I can store them, and leave Fb. But the problem is that I really do have close friends that I communicate with only on Fb. I so preferred email, but no one seems to use it anymore except for business purposes
I have greatly lessened my time there, though; I seldom check it more than 2 quick checks per day. So it's a step.
