I’ve been dealing with severe, severe PMDD all week. I called into work on Tuesday. And then today I realized I wouldn’t be able to make it until Monday. I called my manager and explained I was very sick and couldn’t work today or tomorrow. He said to feel better. I asked him if there was any benefit I could use. Like a sick or personal day. He said he’d check to see what I have. This is so unusual for me to be feeling this bad. I am getting back on my medication on Sunday. I know a ton of other coworkers and supervisors have gotten sick and taken time off. I shouldn’t be treated any differently.
