Gasplessy you may feel 'bad' about doing something healthy, like lying on the floor to sleep or relax, because of the way society has conditioned us to associate comfort with sleeping on a mattress in a bed. It's all about associations. You can make new associations with your thinking and lying on the floor, by telling yourself that you feel good when you lay on the floor, that it has healthy benefits, that it is an act of self-preservation or an act of self-comfort. It's hard to reprogram ourselves -- I struggle every day to reprogram my negative self-thoughts but I still try to do it.
