I used to take Ambien, and clonazepam, and lunesta. They all have pros and cons. However, I don't mean to sway you but you'll have a lot better sleep results with finding the source of your insomnia. Exercise, more brain stimulating activities during the day, healthier diet and good sleep hygiene will have incredible effects in your ability to fall asleep and stay asleep.

I also eliminated caffeine completely from my diet. I survived insomnia and you can too.

Common causes of poor sleep:

- Lack of exercise
- stress
- caffeine and other stimulants
- medications
- poor diet and eating too close to bed time
- sleep apnea
- bad back and neck posture during sleep
- unsuccessful treatment of a underlying psych disorder.
- rebound insomnia from drug withdrawal

More uncommon causes of sleep problems:

- untreated asthma
- untreated GERD
- untreated heart conditions (HBP specifically)
- untreated inflammatory conditions
- lack of sexual activity (the body has needs, this is real)
- food allergies

I hope this comes in handy it did for me.

-Cheers!
