I guess the fact that my brain feels under pressure and I have done unexplainable things for unexplainable reasons means that this diagnosis fits me. Still I despise being thought of as a psycho, I think there is a lot of stigma around psychotic symptoms and those that experience them. I understand apprehension with psychosis and psychotic people, I mean I have seen and heard some crazy things done and said by psychotic people, So I understand why people fear psychotics. I guess I still feel people think it is choice on our part that causes us to behave and think in strange ways. I do not try to make anyones life more difficult than usual, I only try to get my needs met with what tools and skills I have.

Not sure this will help...But years ago my son was dx with that. Never in my dreams was he ever a fear to me or anyone around him
His dx later was changed to PDD OCD. LD
At the time of first dx my thoughts never changed with him.
I am sorry you are feeling bad about youself or that other ppl think different of you. As they should not. imo
Every single person matters and is important.
I am impressed you are useing the tools around you and have learned skills to handle this.
Your right its not a choice...You did not wake up and say hey I want this dx
Here we think of you as stig
