Mine knows when I dissociate. She ought to. Her specialties include dissociative disorders and trauma. I'm amazed that everyone doesn't know when I dissociate though. I don't always notice, because I'm gone, but you would think people would notice when I slow down or can't follow the conversation, and can't come up with coherent answers to anything (I probably just start sayin "uh huh" to everything), and I stare at nothing. I think I stop fidgiting when I dissociate too. I have had people ask me what I'm staring at, or why I'm staring at them. I'm trying to get better at noticing when I dissociate, and figure out what I'm afraid of each time.
