Let me explain where the money will be going so that all know why I have made this request.

As some of you know, I am committed to breastfeeding my gorgeous little boy Jeremy. Things are going well with nursing, but two things have happened. One, I am almost completely isolated and can't get out to have much fun because of this. Two, I need to be taking pain meds and strong ones for my back, and I can't nurse baby after I take them for a certain period of time.

What does this mean? This means in order to have a life and breastfeed safely, I need to purchase a Medela Pump In Style Pump - its known to be the best for alot of pumping which I will have to do to build up a supply. It is around three hundred fifty dollars plus tax, and that was american I think.

I have tried EVERYTHING to get one another way, but the FDA says never to use pumps that are second hand as parts cant be sterilized and could pass n germs to me and baby, and we dont want that.

Welfare wouldnt help me, La Leche didnt have any, and several other places just didnt have the funding to pay for one. Renting is out because I do not have a credit card and its almost three dollars a day, and if you think I plan to feed BM for a year, thats a HUGELY high cost.

The rest of the money is going to be spent on storage supplies, bottles, newborn nipples, and things related to bottlefeeding. I am going to try to also squeeze in a bottle warmer if there is enough left. I was SHOCKED at how expensive the best stuff for this is. But, I want my baby to have the very best.

In conclusion, you guys are helping even if it is thoughts and prayers right now. Hugs are welcome, and I will share them with the baby too.

I am more than happy to provide receipt copies for anyone who wishes to see proof of what I bought (not saying you all don';t trust me but there are people out there who would take advantage of this program and I do not want to be seen as one of them in any way.)

I also hope when I am on my feet to put the same amount of money back IN to the fund for other people who need it.
