A "Good nights sleep" is usually what people associate with good productivity, and general alertedness.
However.... Sleeping 7-8 hours only makes me more tired and lethargic, thus leaving me in a sort of transe-like state during normal waking hours.
However.... When I get four or five hours...i Seem to function best. This is especially strange, considering my age (19) usually teenagers are thought to be obsessive sleepers.
My mom usually tells me to go to bed early, so I won't be tired the next day. But for me, going to bed early only INCREASES my tiredness for the next day. I haven't a clue what this might mean.
Let me give an example: I'll go to bed at around 1 am and wake up at six the next day (With an alarm of course). The next day I'll be fine. Not tired, not even thinking about sleeping.
However, during the weekend, I'll go to bed at around 1-3am, and wake up at around 9 or 10 on my own. I'll feel sluggish, sleepy, lethargic.....Just generally unable to stay awake.
Does any one else do this, or Do you think I should adjust my sleeping pattern?
er...is this just generally strange?
