Hi Moose. I haven't been hospitalized for a long time, but that doesn't mean I have been ready to lose my SSDI. It's a very complex situation, this disorder, and all of the other struggles that came from it. There are so many factors to consider. My psychiatrist and hubby absolutely understand, but many others wouldn't necessarily, especially those I see infrequently or insufficiently. Probably my immediate family wouldn't have understood so much, if it hadn't been for a major tragedy in our family.

I would definitely have ended up in the hospital a number of times over the years, if it wasn't for my Seroquel XR (and prn Seroquel). [Or equivalent antipsychotic, in terms of effectiveness.] I am very grateful for what that medication has done for me. How long has that psych manager known you? Is there anyone that could talk to her on your behalf?
