I too was nervous on taking meds..it gave me anxiety even more so...but than I did alot of research on the side effects and even talked to people who took Prozac and it was like " oh yeah I tried that or Yeah I used to take that " and they all seemed to have survived it and you wil.

It is something you can take when you really need to and it does help, it helped me. But I took it knowing that it was only for now and that I was going to try a bunch of different alternatives in the mean time it helped while I was healing. So I started excercising ( walking)
eating better, taking a Vitamin B complex, multi-vitamin, vitamin C and quit smoking, drinking alcohol,and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy like Mindfulness.
Then I went off my pills because I was able to after 9 months of being on them. I wish you all the best and worrying about it is normal.
