Thanks again everyone. I was afraid of what I did because I had a,similar situation growing up. My grandfather met a woman who divided the family and I don't want this happening to my husband's family or for him to go through that. We discussed it and he hates her. I think this is the first person he's come across who views his Aspergers as a bad thing ( that is another story) and sees him as inferior or childlike for having it. I told him it was not his fault and that if she can't show him any kindness that was on her, not him. I still stressed the need to talk to his father was going to be sooner rather than later.
