But I think the drugs may contribute.

Have you looked into Keto or Intermittent fasting. Or the insulin theory of weight loss? Basically it says that in the presence of insulin you will never be able to lose weight. Losing weight is only possible when insulin is gone. Calories in Calories out allows for small periods but it always ends in gaining it back because your body has mechanisms to make you gain in back.

I am SOOO tried of people telling me weight loss is easy. Yes, if I had 4 hours per day to spend in the gym and every meal I made I could make from scratch, I could be thin. But those things are not available to me and NO I can't remember to premake all my meals before work every day.
