I'm not sure if the bad memories are a trigger or not, but it's been a while since I've experienced this sort of stuff.
Admittedly, I don't know much about hypnopompic/hypnagogic hallucinations, but since it happened at like 2am, I figured it'd be a possibility. Sounds like it might not be sleep related, then. However, I was forced into thinking about things that I didn't even know about. I just have a gut feeling that these thoughts are someone else's, but another part of me says that's not true.

Just checking in when I had a few minutes.
While other people's thoughts may have an influence on our thinking, we don't think the thoughts of other people and/or the thoughts we experience are ours.
I am especially concerned in that you are due back to work soon.
I am glad you'll be seeing your pdoc tomorrow. I hope he will be helpful.
Has it helped in the past to do a temporary med adjustment?
