Having gone through crisis' with both my girls i can tell you that you should consider crisis help for your son. My 11 year old daughter was suicidal. She ended up going inpatient for about 3 weeks. It broke my heart and spirit to think my 11 year old wanted to hurt herself but it was the best thing we did for her. She got stable on meds. He needs his own psychiatrist. My daughter is doing amazing now. She has straight A's and is in musicals and plays but middle school was rough.
