I agree with HappyCrafter, I believe animals have such positive energy cause its pure and real. Since you've had one in the past then you already know what it takes to care for them, so it's your choice to decide if you're ready for that. A kitty would be a great choice I think and he/she can definitely help u feel less isolated. Maybe you could even get one from a shelter then that way you will help each other out.
