Hey that is too bad, I am sorry they cancelled science. If you didn't know you had to express an interest I am wondering how many others didn't either - perhaps they would have had enough people to run the course! I would be disappointed too.

Re maths. I actually think it might be a good idea to brush up if you feel weak in that area. Looking into what is available to you free is a good idea. I will say this, there are some good online resources for maths, many free. May be worth a shot. YouTube also has videos too about processes you may not be sure about. Although I do recommend an in person course if you can source one out - because sometimes if a concept is stuck nothing beats a patient tutor who can explain.

You can definitely do this, my only concern is some of it may be way below your ability because of your BA but I appreciate what you say about showing up and practicing that. It may also build your confidence too.

It sounds like you did amazingly well at showing up with your volunteering and well done on keeping that up - it sounds like a break through. Good luck with your next move.
