Your boss is correct; as far as I'm aware, you can't get a raise while on social security disability. And actually you don't want a raise. Why? Because if you are paid more, then your next SGA (social security gainful activity check amount) will either cease or be very low, amount-wise.
Do you have a social worker? You need to confirm this with your social worker.
