Year 1: Crash and burn, realize my bipolar has been neglected
Year 2: Begin real healing and doing the hard work done of getting to know myself
Year 3: Go to employment agency and retraining for a new career
Year 4: Start new job
Year 5: Pass probation of unionized permanent employment
This has been five tough years with many tears and thoughts of quitting along the way. Naturally, I still have my off-days. What the accomplishment is does not matter to me. It's actually being able to stick to a plan for years that I am satisfied about.
