I'm so screwed. I signed up for something that I never wanted to sign up for (at work), and I think I've been selected... There were like 100 people who applied for this in our company and well, I think I got it.

Truthfully, there's no guarantee I am accepted, as there is no "congrats! you've been selected" or "sorry, we didn't pick you" email from them. I just got an email that says they're "finalizing everything and will be in touch soon," and to "save the start date." They also said to email them back if I can't make the date so that we can set up another time to meet with them in the office. Gah!

I hope this doesn't mean I'm picked, but I'm not too optimistic about that. I think I've been picked since they're asking me to schedule a meeting for an alternative start date "if needed"... But still, I wish they would just tell me YES or NO so that I am not left stewing all weekend long over whether or not I need to prep for this sh_t!! (Thanks, boss, for forcing me to apply for something I never wanted to do...)
