I know I'm chiming in late with this but just as an FYI....when removing programs/tool bars that somehow are stubborn and won't let you remove them.....boot up in safe mode so that only the minimum programs are running (windows stuff) and then try removing the unwanted stuff. Many times things run in the background and won't uninstall if they are running. I've had to do that a few times myself.

Also, when d/l'ing a program you want that is bundled with other garbage....always choose to install specific components instead of the whole package (like they always want to and recommend that you do). That way....you only get what you want and the rest is not installed.
