ECT = Electro Convulsive Therapy -- as though shocking someone could really be therapeutic. For anyone anxious because of overwhelming childhood stress I think it is the last thing that a knowledgeable person would consider. Unless of course you have no understanding of psychology and just wish the sufferer would stop upsetting you.
