So I take a antipsychotic called Vraylar. I'm on the highest dose you can safely be on. Being 6 mg.

My psychiatrist prescribed it for me, to help with hallucinations.

I've been taking it for years.

I did stop taking Vraylar at one point because I felt I didn't need it anymore. I stopped cold turkey without telling my psychiatrist.

When I went to my psychiatrist, he figured out I had stopped taking it. Because I hadn't been getting refills.

When I was off the Vraylar, I had almost zero hallucinations. Only occasionally hearing someone whispering in my ear.

Once I went back on Vraylar, I've noticed a huge increase in hallucinations at night. Visual hallucinations so vivid that they seem almost real.

Is it possible for an antipsychotic to cause more hallucinations?

I will be letting my psychiatrist know soon. I just wanted to hear others experiences.

Thanks in advance.

Also, I take Vraylar for psychosis. But my psychiatrist said he only puts the psychosis diagnosis sometimes. Since I don't always have symptoms.
