I hope things are better today. I don't have an answer to this either and also don't understand why it happens. As frustrating as it is to be interrupted when you've specifically asked not to be, when you have the door closed, it seems like it is just part of living with other people. At least that's what I am settling on. For me, being interrupted sometimes when I don't want to be is better than living without my husband.

I wonder if everyone has a different idea of how long people mean when they say they don't want to be interrupted? For me, I don't want to be interrupted until I emerge, but it seems like other people think it's fair game after an hour or two because that's what they would mean.
