So I see my pdoc for a full hour once a month. I see my psychologist, who I consider my primary T, for 50 minutes weekly, and I see my addictions Dr., who also does psychotherapy every two weeks for 45 minutes. Does this strike anyone else as a lot of therapy. I mean especially between the psychologist and the addictions Dr., I sometimes have trouble keeping straight what i've said to whom when. I need to keep seeing the addictions dr. through the end of April, so that she can write a letter testifying to my sobriety and mental stability to the ministry of transportation, but after that I'm thinking that i might want to cut back on the amount of therapy I have. Now the catch - the psychologist I see is private, and I'm paying out of pocket a lot of money, but I lover her. The addictions Dr., I'm less crazy about, but she's covered by provincial insurance so she's basically free for me.
Oh and I have group therapy once a week (addictions support)
Does this strike anyone else as excessive.
