imho and experience, it does seem to me that God is more likely to listen if my request involves someone besides my own little self...

I have looked at this many times. Read it countless times. Thought it over many times.
I have always wondered that myself.......
I try very hard not to pray for me. I always feel guilty asking for me. So i try to include everyone hoping maybe i will be included too.
That in its self maybe selffish?
I always hope he knows what i need and I trust he sends it my way.
Which is usally the case. May not be always what I am thinking at that point. But it usally what i need.
I pray for others more than myself ...............
Lots of times I feel the silent need more than me.
Most times I feel everyone is in need so a blanket prayer so to speak.
To cover the world........
