Has anyone here had symptoms of Tardive Dyskenisia (involuntary movements) caused by meds? I am on Abilify 5 mg. At 10 mg, my lips would purse and my toes would constantly move. I read about this, and it can become permanent even after stopping the medication. Right now, I am symptom free, but it really concerns me. I am scheduled to see my pdoc tomorrow, and will discuss this with him. Not only does the Abilify help with depression (along with welbutrin), it has completely stopped the frequent chronic migraines I have had since I was 9. Something about the dopamine receptors. Anyway, I don't want to come off completely. I was just curious how common this is. Thanks for any feedback.
