I’m drinking more water and less Diet Coke because I feel better, not because I have to. I still have a small dessert after dinner (I’m talking like two Oreos or a couple of mini chocolate pieces) and I don’t hate myself. And best of all, I’m not letting myself go hungry. If I’m hungry, I eat. I don’t binge, I just eat until I’m full. I don’t even like chips or stuff like that anymore. Today I ate some plain popcorn for a snack after dinner and it was just what I wanted. And healthy! I still don’t really like salads and veggies, so I’m just going to eat the ones I like (broccoli, carrots, green beans) and be done with it. I’m planning on expanding my fruit selection when I go grocery shopping next week. I eat plain yogurt for breakfast along with a protein shake (just to use them up, I don’t plan on buying any more, they’re expensive). And I like it! It’s great! And I am not weighing myself because it’s not about numbers on a scale anymore. I’m healthy according to my dr, so I’m not worried about it as long as my clothes still fit.
I’m still working on self acceptance. I’m still trying to look at my belly and not go UGH. But that will come in time. It helps that RS calls me beautiful every day.
I will continue this!

I’ve been using intuitive eating and an EFT book that focuses on body acceptance and not diets, calories and scales. It’s been working for me and I’m thrilled that it’s working for you. I went to the doctor last week and had lost weight...a nice side effect. I put my scale away. It’s so freeing! Like you, I’m gravitating to healthier food and beverages. Keep up the good work and best wishes for continued success!
