Hello everyone,

I'm new here and I have been out of work for the past 9 months and will be returning back in a few weeks. My doctor stated on my return to work note that I should be reassigned to a position that was was less stressful and or a change in my current manger however, my HR denied that request and is asking for the note to state restrictions and they will decide on the reasonable accommodations they can make. My doctor is completely supportive and is willing to state whatever I feel is necessary for my mental health to return to work. Can anyone provide some restrictions that your doctor recommended when returning to work. I work in corporate America where I am a supervisor of 11-12 other and we provide billing and finance support. I don't feel that I can handle being a supervisor anymore and would prefer a position where I am solely responsible for my work and the quality. Secondly, thinking about, talking to and any other interaction with my manager brings on a anxiety attach- she's so harsh and just makes me feel like I can't do anything right. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just thinking about going back to work is making me sick to my stomach to know I will have to deal and go right back to the very thing that made me go on leave for the 9 months. Also I was on PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) before I went on leave and I'm worried how all of that will work out now. I know I will still be on it but I just feel like they will really try to push me out now. Thanks for listening!
Thanks for this!
