My husband might have to have surgery, currently consulting with couple of surgeons.
He asked his HR if he can have some type of restriction/lighter load when he returns to work. He was told they likely can’t provide that. So he might have to go on short term disability and not return to work as soon as planned. Yet when he mentioned going on disability short term they got all pissy that they don’t want him gone for too long. It’s ridiculous. Can’t win. He might look for a different job all together.
I agree with previous poster about seeing an attorney.
Or maybe even look for a different job
