Sorry if it's been a while to get back to all of the responses. I have lung disease and each acid re-flux episode causes me to have pneumonia. However in the state of Arizona I'm also Seriously Mentally Ill, so I could qualify for disability that way. My boyfriend has SSDI because he has Bipolar Disorder. They mainly want me to be on because I haven't been stable with my jobs due to both mental and physical illness.
