Buspar did nothing for me. It was basically a sugar pill. In fact, it was so useless for me that I quit it cold turkey off the highest possible dose and I had no withdrawal. None. Nada. Zip. Nil. My pdoc warned me that I shouldn't have done that, but I knew it wasn't doing anything for me in the first place, so that's why I didn't care about "withdrawal." (I'm not saying you should go cold turkey if it isn't helping, though. Don't. I should have listened to his advice to be on the safe side.)
I recommend reading this page:
BuSpar Side Effects: Common, Severe, Long Term - Drugs.com
That page says one of the more common side effects is: "Restlessness, nervousness, or unusual excitement" -- Would you agree with that?
