Hi cashart. Your question is one that many of us have dealt with at some point or another, especially in the beginnings of our illness or during/just after some of the worst times. The questions can easily be "Is he/she (or am I) overreacting?" or "Do they really accurately sense something is happening?" I think in the latter case, I like to give it a little extra time to see what happens next, as long as the situation isn't clearly urgent. I have my prn (as needed) medications when needed. If things progress, then calling the psychiatrist is important. But in the former case, a healing process needs to be done. That can take those around us (or even us, ourselves) seeing that little changes won't always add up to emergency. Clouds don't always signal hurricane. Breezes don't always signal a tornado is about to come.

I hope the rest of your day will be pleasant and peaceful. Don't be too afraid to enjoy it.
