I'm having a bad day, but I'm not even mad and my mood is great. My phone fell in the toilet (thankfully before I actually went to the bathroom), I had diarrhea 2 hrs later (I think from propranolol), I lost my work badge somewhere in the city (the clip snapped off), and I missed a really important Skype meeting because I couldn’t login because I had no phone for 2 factor authentication.

I ended up going to a Verizon store nearby and it took 2 hours and $400 to get this new phone, and somewhere between then and now, I lost my badge. Considering I walked 2 f***ing miles to get to the Verizon store and even bought lunch, it could be ANYWHERE. Now it takes 1-2 weeks to get a badge for work. And of course my day couldn’t get any worse because I still have stuff to do until 8pm tonight for work because I lost time during the day when I had to get the phone. So only THEN, at 8pm, can I go home. I have been here since 6am after getting caught in dead stop traffic at 5am. I am dying...

But I do have to say: not everyday will be a bad day. There are just some days that will be bad no matter what you do, but there will also be good days no matter what you do. I hope tomorrow is a better day. I'm sure it will be.

On the upside, I realized how addicted I am to my phone and I learned how much more productive I am without it. I tried to turn it on like 15 times out of habit. I was like, "oh, that's right... R.I.P. phone." I think I am now gonna turn my phone off when I don't need it. But I am on break now, so I am gonna use it for a bit.

Oh, and guess what? The guy at the Verizon store said he dropped his phone in the airport toilet before, so I am not alone. lol. (Well, I am sure the airport toilet is way worse because Boston-Logan is, well... yeah... Pretty disgusting. At least our work toilets are clean.) I think I need a shower though after putting my hand depths of the toilet. Good thing the water wasn't "brown."
