I deal with vertigo flares from time to time, due to my meniere's. It is not fun.
On a day to day basis, I have to be careful of not turning quickly, changing head positions quickly, left right, up down.... I don't lean down or "look under" anything! LOL

It could be an allergic reaction .. did you drink some alcohol that was different from the past drinks?

Does your prescribed mediation allow for alcohol to be ingested while taking it?
