I’m really scared now. I’ve been really struggling recently, and have been suicidal. I’m avoiding going inpatient at all costs bc I have a sick family member to care for. Today when I saw my pdoc he said you do know I can hospitalize you against your will. I got chills thinking about it. I just can’t go into the hospital. . I’m thinking about cutting off all contact with my pdoc and therapist. If he were to commit me what would happen? Would they call an ambulance, keep me indefinitely? I’m scared.
