I feel for you, Billybob. I am a frequent poster, as well, and am fully aware many of my posts are three + times longer than others'. I can be verbose, but it is more often my compulsion to write, share, or express creativity. As online forums can be many peoples' main source of social interactions, I imagine being cut off would hurt.

I can also be gabby and easily go off on tangents. Some is personality, some bipolar disorder. Some members occasionally skip or only skim my posts. I'm OK with that.

Non mental illness-related forum members have occasionally reacted to my posts negatively. Even been called things like "over the top", "off balance", etc.

It's a well-known fact that some avid writers/musicians practically die when ordered to chop out big amounts of their writing/music. It is often necessary, though.

The topics of "the urge to write a lot", and the exact opposite, could be discussed in multiple doctoral theses. I'll stop here.
