Thanks @bpcyclist things have been a bit better at home lately. And my dog was calmer the last few days. Today is a bit tricky because my sister went out and her dog tends to raise the alarm if he doesn't get attention every few minutes. And he barks in such a way that startles the other dogs into barking in an obnoxious tone of voice. I don't usually mind ordinary barking dogs. My sister's temperament brings out aggression in her dog and it sometimes triggers a reaction from my dogs. This never happened before she had her own dog. My nerves just feel really frayed again today.
