Score

I scored a 39, with 5 mild issues.

I took the test 3 years ago, and scored higher, so it was cool to see it decrease. 3 years ago, I was struggling much more, and even though I was in therapy, I was not getting the help I needed, and I have since been working on my issues in therapy and I have a lot of skills I use now to help myself.

Feedback

1. Could you consider taking out the BMI as a measurement of health? It's an outdated and inaccurate tool that basically means nothing about health. Also people here have eating disorders and I'm not sure how sharing BMI in the results would be helpful to them, in particular, the higher it goes. (If you'd like resources on this, here are 4 book titles to help: Health At Every Size, Intuitive Eating, Body Respect, Anti-Diet).

2. I see people posting here and feeling badly about their higher scores, as well as people posting and feeling good about their lower scores. I was at first, going to suggest the sanity score be called something else, or that there be more of an explanation about what the score actually means, and reassurance that it doesn't make you worse, crazy, less than if you score higher, but I found that that's already there in the FAQ Sticky at the top of the page, and it is helpful and explains the sanity score more thoroughly. For those who scored high and may feel bad, read the FAQ sticky.
